Absolutely wonderful place. Gerry and Marie were so nice they accommodated us with an earlier check in time in order to change our clothes before attending a wedding nearby. We were welcomed at the door by Marie with a warming smile. The room itself was so warm, cosy and spacious. It was spotless clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was cooked to order and everything was inch perfect. The added touch that both Gerry and Marie worked together and bounced off each other creating a loving and friendly atmosphere. Gerry was also very funny and did our spirits mighty the next morning! Would highly recommend.

Gerry and Marie are lovely hosts: warm, friendly and hospitable. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a great breakfast! It's a great place to stay if you want to visit the castle and is walking distance to all the pubs and shops in Slane. I'd thoroughly recommend this B & B!

This B and B was like going to stay in your favourite aunty and uncle's house! We were given the warmest welcome and a lovely breakfast the next day...the perfect hangover cure after a Wedding! The room was big and spotlessly clean along with the bathroom. It's only a few minutes from the wedding venues around and the next morning we were driven to pick up our car where we left it which meant no fussing with taxis or worrying what to do with the car. If we are in W/o and again we would definitely book with them!

Stayed here one night in January for a wedding. Lovely house, great location the village is right there and Slane Castle is about a 5-10 minute walk and Gerry and Marie couldn't have been nicer!

Castleview House B&B is a lovely, quiet place and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and cosy, with a comfortable bed and everything you’d need for your stay. Breakfast was great too. I’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend this B&B.

My husband and I stayed at Castleview House for one evening and one evening was not long enough. Marie and Gerry are the most helpful and gracious hosts. The accommodations were comfortable and the breakfast was very filling and delicious. We wished we had booked more time at Castleview House. Marie and Gerry provided the perfect B & B for us. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The gardens are gorgeous!! The traditional breakfast was delicious and hearty. Marie and Gerry were excellent hosts and provided us with so many wonderful local tips for our travels around the Slane area.

Castleview was an incredible B&B. Marie and Gerry were such welcoming hosts and they cook a mean Irish breakfast in the morning. Sadly, we arrived into town late and as a result Marie had to cancel her plans, waiting for us. We felt horrible but they were very kind about the misunderstanding. If you are ever in the Slane area, I highly recommend a stay with Marie and Gerry, you won't be disappointed!

Gerry and Marie couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming , even though we put them under pressure to get our rooms ready so that we could get ready for a wedding on Friday 16th August . We stayed at the B & B for a family wedding. It’s lovely, spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our rooms were perfect. Marie and Gerry are fantastic hosts, so helpful and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. They sorted taxi bookings and Gerry gave us a lift to the wedding venue. We were treated like house guests rather than just customers. The Irish breakfast was delicious. All grilled quality food and Marie even catered specially for one of our party who is vegan. We had homemade soda bread and porridge bread - made specially for us. Marie gave me the recipe so I can make some at home. If you ever visit Slane, I can’t recommend it enough. If we visit again (and we hope we will) this will be a must for us. Thank you so much Marie and Gerry.
